2009 was ushered in with Phase II construction activity in high gear. By April the 2 buildings that comprise Phase II with a capacity of 88 new covered high and dry storage units were completed. With the new décor on the Roosevelt side of both Phase I and II the buzz word around the marina was “Look at us now” Little did we realize we had not seen anything yet. Our new Hoist Lift Truck made quite an impressive debut during a ceremony put on by the State of Florida as we were designated a “Clean Marina” Congratulations to our staff who worked very hard to insure we met the high standards of this program. Before we could catch our breath construction began on Phase IIIA. We could hardly believe our eyes as every day during the summer this magnificent structure blossomed before our eyes. Grand Opening is expected in January 2010. There was no time to rest as Phase IIIB the “island” was next on the agenda. Quietly behind the scene 56 new floating docks (wet slips) are built and are currently being installed.
